A Journey through Romans - Chapter 14

Rom 14:1  As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
Rom 14:2  One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables.
Rom 14:3  Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.

We all have personal viewpoints and are on a totally unique journey compared to our neighbours, some are at high risk of stumbling while others are incrdibly strong in the faith. Paul in all this asks us to respect our neighbours by not exposing him/her to the very things that can easily make them stumble.

Rom 14:8  For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.
Rom 14:9  For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Christ died so that we would be safe back in his presence with one main purpose, to worship him, some may not know it but its absolute truth. Truth these days gets so mixed up that no one anymore knows whats the truth and what not the truth and its a pity but one thing that has always stood just so happens to be Gods word.

Rom 14:11  for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
Rom 14:12  So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

I ask a question, when you die can you confidently say that you will spend eternity with God or is there uncertainty, if you have been saved and serve God there should be no problem but if it has not been a decision you have made then I have to say you have business to do as one day he will come again and will thoroughly examine the persons heart and where its at and will either let you spend eternity with him or will welcome you to the firy pit of hell.

Rom 14:23  But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

Doubt is like a disease, it eats at you until you cant face it no more. Whenever I feel unneccesary doubt I choose to go against it as I then know its the very place God needs me to be and by taking that step incredible things have happened.
